The Alcohollys uploaded another awesome video from their studio time. Enjoy!
The Alcohollys are releasing their new EP The Flashback EP on February 12th.
The 2-track EP is available for digital pre-order on Bandcamp for only $5!
They are also on Soundcloud, so listen to their new recording of Flashback To ’93 here!
Check out this video of Tanya while the band was in the recording studio.

Trish has slowly been sharing some of her Kittie related scans on her Facebook Fan Page. She and Jenn have been included in the 2012 Warwick ads!
We’ll be keeping tabs of what scans she’ll be posting and add them in our Press section in our gallery. In the meantime, check out the other magazine scans we have in our gallery!
++ On a different note, we hope all of you (living in the U.S.) have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!

We apologize for no updates the past month & a half. There hasn’t been much to update with – the band has been taking a well deserved break. We on the other hand have some things we’re working on, but it seems to be taking longer than planned to get it up and running. But we promise real soon that we’ll get back on the updating track.
Major highlights the past month:
- Tanya got married! Congrats to Tanya and her husband Mark!
- Happy (super belated) Thanksgiving to all Canadians!
- Jenn placed in fifth in Big Brother 14. Here’s what she’s planning back in the real world: I’ll be back in the studio next week to finish up my album, ‘Out IV Blood’, and I’m exploring different opportunities that are coming up. I can’t wait to get back behind the turntables too! I miss spinning so damn much! I’ll be hosting a nationwide tour in early 2013 and my band will perform on many of the dates, so I’m really looking forward to that. I’ll be busy on my real life hustle just like before “Big Brother.” I couldn’t be more excited about it.
- Keep a look out for The Alcohollys featuring Mercedes on drums. They’ll be in the studio this month, and we can’t wait to hear new music from them!
Also, we hope that everyone is safe from Hurricane Sandy. The east coast is still in shambles from what Sandy left behind, and we hope and pray that none of you were hurt during the storm. Our hearts truly go out to everyone affected.
We’ve been trying to track the band’s recently released greatest hits album, and it’s been difficult to find!
From what we’ve come across, the album is available as a UK import, and it is no longer available on iTunes.
It seems to have existed in the UK Amazon store, but is now labeled as unavailable.
While searching through eBay, we’ve come across nine available copies. We don’t know how reliable this source is considering the fact that the album hasn’t been easy to find.
This is all that we have been able to find at the moment. We’ll keep you updated as we come across any more information.
Kittie tweeted this earlier today:
A friend of ours needs your help to put a book out with quotes from female musicians. Here’s the kickstarter http://kck.st/Mm6AgS
ROCKRGRL Magazine (1995- 2005) – was a highly influential independent but much beloved publication for women who play music. Many artists interviewed very early in their careers went on to enjoy mainstream success (Tegan and Sara, Sleater-Kinney, Vicci Martinez, Kittie, The Donnas)..
The magazine has featured Kittie many times, and even once on the cover for The Drummer Issue, #51, Spring 2004.
Now, the creators of ROCKRGRL are putting together their GRL Talk Book full of quotes.
When the award-winning ROCKRGRL Magazine went on permanent hiatus at the end of 2005, it left a void in the publishing world for women who play music. Now we need YOUR help to give ROCKRGRL the proper closure it never got …
“GRL Talk: 231 Memorable Moments from ROCKRGRL Magazine,” a limited edition perfect-bound book, will fill that void. “GRL Talk” is an inspiring collection of ROCKRGRL’s timeless “AHA!!” moments. Each quote is one sentence long and placed in one of five categories:
• Sound Advice
• Surviving the Biz
• Inspiration
• Musicianship
• GRL Talk
Visit The GRL Talk Book Kickstarter Page for more info.

For the past few weeks Karen and I have been working on a new layout to celebrate the release of Kittie’s first greatest hits album ‘Not So…Safe’. All pages remain the same, but the sidebar has been changed up a bit to fit modern fansite standards, I guess you can say. We’ve got a few more things under our belt that we can’t wait to unleash, but for now we hope you enjoy the new layout!
So far from what we can see, ‘Not So…Safe’ is available through iTunes, which you can order HERE. It seems that there aren’t physical copies of the album available at the moment, but we will surely keep you updated as soon as we find any more information. But in the meantime, you can purchase the greatest hits album through iTunes.
Thanks for visiting, and happy shopping!
We apologize for the lack of updates. It’s been quiet in the Kittie camp. We’ve got a few new things coming real soon, but for now we wanted to share some new finds.

We found rare photos from the Funeral For Yesterday era. These photos were taken for that Revolver Magazine spread in 2007. View all the images HERE.
Besides that, we’ve added some images of Jenn in the Big Brother house. Look at them HERE.
We also found an little article about Jenn and Kittie at MEOW, talking about Jenn before joining reality TV.
Stay tuned! In a few days we’ll have good things coming your way!
We send our thoughts to Morgan, Mercedes and Deanna.
